This is my first post in the Primitive area. I will try not to over load this area with pictures. Here is an old stoneware pot that was well used. Might just be me but I like how it shows its use over the years. Origin is unknown to me. Maybe someone here will know. Size is 6inch height ,6 inch wide.

Welcome Brian to the 'All Things Primitive' group. This is a lovely example of early pottery - looks like spongeware or spatterware as it is sometimes called. I also like the well worn appearance that is often characteristic of primtive pieces - the wear and imperfections that comes along with the history of the piece, is what makes each piece one of a kind and cannot be duplicated - it comes with age. Thanks for sharing .
