I have a special passion for early printed cloth dolls & animals...not sure why. The whole idea of these early toys starting as printed pieces of cloth so a mother could stitch them up and stuff them to provide a beloved toy, just pulls on my heartstrings. Once these little dolls & animals have been handed down through the years, they all take on a special personality all their own. One such doll from my collection in this photo has an early 1900s copyright date. Maybe some others out there have some to share as well?
