We must never forget the joy of using our vintage ceramic dishes. So, I'm introducing a discussion on VINTAGE CERAMIC TABLESCAPES! Please feel free to share your photos.

"Vintage Garden"

Dishes are explained: "On one of our recent trips to St. Louis I found three of these wonderful consume/berry bowls and salad plates in "Crown Ducal, Florentine England". They are very old and have a black transfer rural cottage  scene on the bowls and plates that read "Little Comberton". A gold rim and raised green fruit design on the border of the plates/saucers had me smitten."

Oh, yes this looks like Fall.  Fabulous!

Yes! The greens, the browns, the oranges, the golds all wrapped up in the beautiful vintage ceramic pieces....I love it too!

Just lovely.  Love the old fashioned wheel barrow.

I'm so happy we are back to fall tablescapes!! FUN.

Posted this one in another discussion but it's worthy of the tablescape discussion too!

I can see adding a big brown glazed pottery bean pot in the center with ham and beans steaming out the top...can't you?

Here's a mid-century stoneware bean pot made in the USA...
