I Antique Online

A Community For People Who Buy, Sell or Collect Antiques, Collectibles and Art

Do you think Twitter is an effective tool for the dissemination of information about antiques and the antiques trade?

I have joined Twitter as @meissenman and plan to tweet from auctions, antique shows and museums in near real time, hopefully including images. My first foray into this endeavor will be this  coming Thursday (1/24/13) from the New York Ceramics Fair.

Let me know what you think!

Perhaps I should add a Twitter Connection group in the site?

I think that is a very interesting idea, please try it and see what happens. Especialy with improving smart phone cameras and mobile imaging apps (like Camera+ which monitors camera shaking) real time image dissemination with associated commentary could be very useful. Meanwhile I'll be hopefully tweeting from the NY Ceramics Fair tomorrow, with photos, so please follow me as @meissenman.
