Anyone remember Jimmy Durante? a kiss is just a kiss!
, which in unedited versions opens with a Durante-like stork.[3] "Book Revue" shows a boMany 1940s Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoons had characters based on Durante. Two examples are A Gruesome Twosome, which features a cat based on Durante[2] and Baby Bottleneckok featuring a Durante caricature on the cover. In the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoon named "Hollywood Daffy", Durante is directly depicted as himself, pronouncing his catch-phrase "Those are the conditions that prevail!".

Hi Randi,
Thank you for the invite. I have a huge passion for vintage costume jewelry, I have been a collector for many years, the sheer quality of the past designers absolutely astounds me, in fact most things from early to mid 20th century fascinate's me, true style and class.

Thanks for the invite, I wish they still played shows like that on the radio today. It was over by the time I was born, but it's seems like such fun!

I love the 40s. probably my favorite era for design styles. I think it's due to watching movies from the 40s everyday after school with my mother. The sets, the clothing, the STUFF, has always been dear to me. I was born a little too late!
