I'm hoping to revive this group, since I know that there are lot of vintage clothing and fashion aficionados out there.

What do you like to wear and/or buy and sell?  Women's clothing?  Men's clothing? Do you have a special passion?  Hats? Jewelry? Handbags?  Neckties?  Please share. :)

It amazes me that a group like this should have difficulty thriving. Hi!  My special passion is handbags - which, as a very obvious male, opens me to (usually) friendly banter and ribaldry when I buy at auction!  I particularly like 1930's and 1950's handbags and am always on the lookout for (for example) Lucite.  Like most collectors I have items I am willing to sell and exchange.  I also pick up 'crossover' items such as clothing, shoes etc when I buy mixed lots for the purpose of securing a particular item in that lot.  Recently, for example, I bid for a lot containing a couple of habdbags I liked.  When I looked through what I had bought I found that a dress that  had hardly noticed was, in fact, a 1930's ladies tropical dress designed by George VI's personal uniform maker!

Do hope this group begins to thrive.

I agree on this group. The problem IMHO with all vintage online everything now is there are so many social places. People only have so much time in one day.
