That seems to be a common pattern in Japanese lusterware.

Mine is Noritake from 1950, so a bit different. They all seemed to use the same tree though. :)

This teapot was actually a premium from the Lipton tea company.

I LOVE yellow! Pure sunshine!

This teapot has no marking, but it does have a music box that plays "Tea for Two" when you pick it up!

I believe Porcelier once made the porcelain light fixtures that were so popular in the late 1920's - 50's. These mid-century teapots were another signature product.
