What's under the lid? Is there a glass insert (plate) to hold hot water, or burner below it? Any hallmarks showing it''s silver, manufacturer, or what-not? Looks very bright. I'd suspect it has a non-tarnish coating, usually applied to plate or nickel-silver. Need more pics and explanation.
