I Antique Online

A Community For People Who Buy, Sell or Collect Antiques, Collectibles and Art

I picked up these two bodies at a sale recently and I'm trying to identify the make/model (as far as Ideal describes them).

I've searched various web sites with no success, so I'm turning to my fellow Whadja Find Today members for assistance.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can read the model # easier than me because they're upside down for me. Type the CZ number, click on Images, look for same color scheme. They look like Porsches to me.

The green case is CZ3290 with the year 1969 and the white one is CZ3338 and the year 1968

I can't determine if these are Ideal Motorific or some other line of cars that they produced. I am finding very little information online

The green one is a Corvette, 59 to 67. 1968s and newer didn't have wing windows. Although it's marked "1969" it isn't as yours has wing windows.  Yours appears to be missing a blower that fits in the black hole atop your carburetor. These toys have interchangeable decals which makes finding them impossible. The real cars had vary little body change annually which makes finding the right model or year difficult.

Thanks again for the info.

I'm not a car guy. Do you know what make/model the white car is ?

Thanks again.

Looks like a Porsche Carrera GT Evo (newer model) to me.  Older models have 2 front seats, the Evo has a single seat in the center. These (link) all started out as white.

In your pic the holes above the wheels in rear had a wing (missing), in front had rear view side mirrors (missing).

Thanks again Tom
