I love Hilda! A red-headed, vibrant pin-up girl for forty plus years by artist Duane Bryers, she began her debut in 1957. Each painting is unique...Hilda is so full of life and her ribs are not sticking out. :) She starred in advertising calendars of all sizes and shapes. Making a perfect collectible.

1950...the year I was born, brings this adorable vintage advertising calendar!

"1950 Advertising Calendar for the Boyertown Oil Company. It is entitles "The Best of Friends" and is a winsome portrayal of a little girl with a litter of puppies. This image was painted by the American Illustrator Frederich Sands Brunner, and was chosen to represent The Boyertown Oil Co., with their slogan "The Fuel We Sell Keeps Her Well."

This item is listed for $772! Anyone paid this much for an advertising calendar?
