Do YOU Live in a Vintage Cottage?

Well, if you consider the 80's vintage (which most people do not) I guess I live in a Vintage Cottage. But, as we all know, you can take a brand new place and make it look vintage.

This discussion is for those who live in a bone fide vintage or even antique dwelling and also for those who have transformed a brand spankin' new house into a vintage cottage haven.

This is adorable, Susan! Do you live on a nice piece of land too? I can see your iris - are you in the south somewhere?

Thank you Eliene! We only have a 1/2 acre. Used to have nice fields out behind the house but now unfortunately they built a housing development back there. I spend a lot of time in my front yard now. This is actually an older photo (I purchased the cottage in 1989) and we have since ripped off the front enclosed porch so I have an open front porch. It is nice because it really exposed a lot more of the stone front. I will have to post more photos. It is a work in progress with many restoration and repair projects in progress. We are in PA. :)

Do you have a fireplace to stay warm during the long, cold winters? Spring will come. ;)
