I Antique Online

A Community For People Who Buy, Sell or Collect Antiques, Collectibles and Art

I found this at an estate sale a few years ago and have not been able to find any information on it.

It is 8in tall x 8in diameter on the top. The lid is concave on the bottom and says LANGAA-KOPPEN on the top and bottom.

The very bottom piece rotates in a circle and there are small holes at the base where it turns (as if to drain).

At first I was thinking it was for ice but why would the bottom turn?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I'm not familiar with the brand.
From the design and function I'd say it's a rotatable flower pot.

A Danish Cheese Form.

Commonly from 1960's made of Teakwood and Iron.

I agree, it does look like a cheese form. I am going to post several pics shortly, of some glass, pottery, and porcelain, that I am haveing some difficulty id'ing the maker. I hope someone cna help me ... it has been an ongoing frustrating sititution for quite some time.
