Well, it's pretty Michelle! :) You might use key words to describe the shape for English Tableware...like footed cup, curled handle, scalloped saucer, etc. In the vast world of vintage tea cups, I hope you are able to ID it!
Thanks Eileen,,, I know its very old and have been searching... was hoping someone would recognize the pattern.
I have two reference books that I looked through but didn't find that exact pattern. Just similar shapes and the gilded handles and edges, etc.
awww you are so sweet... thank you.. It seems to be very rare. I looked thru all the Coalport patterns, which is what I thought it was similar to, no luck... I'll keep searching. Thanks again!
Crown Staffordshire, England. Handle is very close to yours; colors likewise. Design is not the same. Staffordshire is known for its fine white clay. Both are footed and have similar gold trim. Close enough to be from same company.
