Antique railroad padlock

Hi, I have an antique NY NH & H RR, railroad padlock with brass key, curious of what the value might be, I tried to sell it on EBAY, but they would not let me, any information or interest would be appreciated, Thanks

I wonder why eBay refused to let you sell that lock? Do you know? They currently have around 75 old padlocks for sale similar to yours. Completed sales shows they go for $9.00 to $21.00 depending on condition and shape.

They said it was illegal to sell railroadpad locks, under goverment banned sales of uniformsand equipment, they also claimed they were contacted by several railroad companies. I dont believe it myself. I do know the big power sellers sell railroad padlocks and get away with it. I sell under wildman 1953 if you are interested in checking any of my listings.
