I do! I have an Etsy shop--MTippingAtelier.etsy.com. I am also a member of The Vintage Village--http://vintagevillage.ning.com. There are quite a few Etsy shopkeepers who sell vintage on that site as well. Love this site too!
So maybe if you are still there you could give this confused newbie a hand? I listed 6 items, but when I go out of my account and pretend I am a buyer-I can't find them under "Vintage", but if I go under "handmade" that's where they are, what am I doing wrong???
Thank you!
Hi, Marie! I was out until a half hour ago and am reading through emails now--sorry to be so late getting back to you...I sent you a convo on Etsy as well:) I may have read your email incorrectly so I will go onto Etsy as a buyer and see what happens...
Marie, I went into Etsy as a buyer and to the drop down menu and clicked on Sellers and added your name and you were there! Your items are under vintage in the dropdown menu too. I think you are fine! Let me know if I can be of any other help (I'm a bit of a newbie myself but always happy to assist if I possibly can!)
I started an etsy shop a year ago, but didn't get serious until last fall. I spend a few hours on the site every day! The first tag is always the category your items will show in. You can choose handmade, supplies or vintage. A supply can be vintage or vice versa. Anything 20+ years is supposed to be tagged vintage as I understand it, even if it is a supply. Just put supply as the 2nd tag.
I'd love to participage in an etsy group! I was wondering if iantiqueonline had an etsy connection like thevintagevillage does??? A lot of thevintagevillage members put it as a tag to search other members items.
