Haviland Collectors International Foundation Annual Conference

HCIF's 2015 conference will focus on the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.

There will be presentations on the 1904 World's Fair, Haviland genealogy, wines and the correct glassware to use, silver, vintage clothing, current trends in what is selling at auction, and Haviland oddities. The committee will attempt a recreation of the Theodore Haviland booth exhibited at the 1904 World's Fair. Also on exhibition will be Haviland tablescapes from the collections of our local members.

The tour includes an historic homes in St. Louis as well as a visit to Donna Hafer's Haviland Museum on Main Street in St. Charles. We will also visit the St. Louis Basilica, the home of a spectacular collection of mosaics.

The conference will take place at the Embassy Suites in St. Charles, which features two-room suites, complimentary breakfast and evening cocktail reception, free WiFi throughout the hotel and guest rooms, free parking and free shuttle service for destinations within a three-mile radius of the hotel.
