Mens Detachable Shirt Cuffs

Hello, I'm back with another. I have 3 pairs of shirt cuffs. Wondering 1) How old are these detachable shirt cuffs? 2) What do you suppose the number is that is stamped on them? Are these from a uniform? My imagination goes to military but I know little of uniforms. The cuffs are stiff. They are from an estate and were mixed in with sheet music that dated from 1895 to 1930.
