Help identifying Antique Bronze Cooking Vessel

This is a bronze cooking vessel but to my novice eyes it looks to be really, really old. From the motifs, perhaps renaissance and more so, when examines the motifs. I am not sure. it is quite large at 37 cm high with holders. From other examples that I have seen in museum, it is at least 300+ years old. Any help to point me in the right direction would help.See More

"Hi,  Your mark is from a manufacture from the GDR (German Democratic Republic) and it was produced somewhere from 1951 to 1974. The company started out as Kuch & Co in 1877. With the formation of the GDR it was nationalised (the period when…"

"No, Tom. I'm in the correct post. Wall vase = Staffordshire bough pot for a fireplace mantel, early 1800s. There is no question. Cathy's inquiry is definitely a footed jardiniere. I'm not talking about that. "

"I think it's fascinating too! I'll look at Swiss and Scandanavian pottery-- it would make a lot more sense if the side design were European, given that the front one seems American/English. At least to me it does.  "

"One other thought, small chairs are also used to display large dolls. But I think Arthur is correct.  Standard height for adult chairs is 16-18 inches.  The chairs would be called a "ladder back" chair/rocker."
