trying to assess old galvanized 55 gallon drum from the barrett company

There is a brass or bronze plate on the drum that says THE BARRETT CO, CHEMICAL DEP, KENSINGTON STA PHILA then a drum number.  One end of the drum has been cut open as old drums usually are to make storage cans.  it is unique because it is welded rather than crimped, its galvanized and it has steel rings around it I believe to give it strength.See More

Anyone know what this might be? Silver?

Hi everyone! Can anyone help me identify this piece please. I found it at the bottom of an old pail that I bought at an auction. The pail was full of rusted nuts, bolts, and other hardware. This piece looks like it has two different metals. The pipe is brass. It is hollow and there is a stem in the middle. The head part is some other metal which is heavy. It's non-magnetic and very dull in color. Possibly lead or maybe silver? The head is a women's head wearing a bonnet. The appearance appears…See More
