"Looking at styles of roofs, the flat top on yours would suggest a Mansard style roof.  However, there are slopes on all four sides of the roof when the top is flat.  The Gambrel style is much more common, but in reality has a small slope…"

Please help identify this Sterling Silver Pail/Bucket.

Hi, I haven't posted anything for a long time, so hopefully, I do it right. I have searched everywhere trying to identify this mark. The name is just worn enough that I can't make it out. I am also at a loss as to the purpose of this wonderful pail/bucket. It measures 2 1/2 inches tall not including the handle and 3 inches across the top. So if anyone could help me identify the maker and shed light on the pails purpose I would really appreciate it! Thank you!…See More

Rodney Kent Hammered Aluminum

I found a hammered aluminum relish dish with a glass insert.  There are no markings on it, but another one I saw on Etsy says its by Rodney Kent.  When I looked up Rodney Kent hammered aluminum I saw the same style and pattern but those pieces were signed and this one is not.  Does anyone out there know anything about hammered aluminum? Did Rodney Kent always sign his pieces? This dish dates from around the 1950s-early 60s.…See More
