ID mark on silver

Has anyone ever seen sterling silver marked in three places? On the bottom, This piece has a number 3001 located on the left. Sterling at the top and a mark on the right that looks like at least two elephants and maybe a mule? Posted this mark.

French Coal Hod?

I've never seen anything like this.  Is it a coal hod or kindling box...the shape really has me guessing.  It's 21"tall and has carrying loops on each side.  There is a slot at the bottom.  Thanks folks.  Steve.  steve@troyfaust.com…See More
